I've always wanted a BB machine gun like they've got at carnivals and you have to shoot out the star.
This is as close to it that I've seen. These are not plasic pellets either. It says 6mm steel BB's on the cool vids page.Comment

those plastic 6mm bb's are for airsoft guns, big in Japan etc
the biggest manufacter is to be Tokyo Marui, and the coolest all around guns are the auto electric guns [AEG] like the TM ak 47.. .Comment

When we first got it I shot him twice with it in the belly from about 50 feet, left welts about the size of a quarter, even though he had on a heavy leather shirt. (Actually I was only going to shot once but the trigger is VERY easy to pull....LOL!)
Now He and a group of guys get together and shoot each other with these things, I was thinking of getting him a new one for xmas and found the first link while looking around for something fun.SIG TOO BIG! Airsoft is considered sissy paintball. It doesn't hurt nearly as much. It is much cheaper though.

The plastic pellets don't hurt like a bitch, paintballs sure can.
I'm sure it's fun, and it's a lot cheaper to play .. I've just got in to paintball in the last year and all the hardcore paintballers at the field I play at look down at airsoft. I was just perpetuating some ignorance for the masses..Comment

I know in one of the last outings aone of the guys got his front tooth shot out from about 30 feet, and another one of the guys took a hit on his bottom lip from about 10 feet breaking his lip in half...OUCH! now they all wear full face masks instead of just googles.
From what I have seen, a lot of the airsoft guns (cheap ones) are just that, cheap, but you start moving up to the AEGS etc and they start shooting out almost as hard as some regular bb guns. I know the one we have here has no problem shooting through a pop can at around 15 feet, and on full auto (I think its rated about 700 rounds a minute) it will cut a can in half in seconds, and this is stock! You can spend money and get even stronger springs, motors batteries etc... Good way to waste a lot of money quick I think, but he enjoys it so I figure what the hell let them have some fun
Also, if funny to watch guys shoot the G3, I swear every guy that picks it up for the first time and fires it on full auto giggles like a little school girl! LOLSIG TOO BIG! I have been shot with an airsoft gun, it stings pretty bad.. I've also been shot in the top of my head from about 20 feet away as I was already hit and walking off the course, that was pretty harsh.. I had a golf ball size lump on my head.. (I shot the guy in his nuts 4 times after that) Also been shot from 4 feet away in the stomach, that was real nice feeling the next day..
Paintball hurts much worse imho.. you also get idiots who like to freeze their balls a little bit.. bad move..I'm here for the violence!Comment

One of my friends plays paintball, daily, and he says that is not possible. First the ball would expand(and would not break the way it should when it hits), you would need a barrel kit for that. And second, he said if someone hit him with a froozen ball he would unload his "timmy" in less than 5 seconds on that person and then jump him. He says in all his years playing he has heard the myth, but never experienced it. When his "timmy" is ramped up it can get 30 BPS consistantly. He also failed to mention he would crank up his hidden velocity adjuster if and when he sees people playing with "hot" guns and takes them right out. But he in no way condones shooting hot, you can hurt the little newbies out there and then they will not think the game is fun. He just levels the field.........Paintball hurts much worse imho.. you also get idiots who like to freeze their balls a little bit.. bad move..Comment
