    Photoshop/Imageready question..

    WTF... I made a psd file in photoshop and I imported it to image ready so I can animate it and save it as a gif... Well I did this and it wont animate it because image ready says it is a png file. WTF?

    I didnt use anything from a png file to make the psd... Nor is the file a png file...

    Ive used image ready 1000s of times over the years... Ive never had this error b4...

          Did you last save something in Photoshop as a PNG? I have had a problem trying to save a GIF in ImageReady when Photoshop is set for something different.

              Its set to save as a PNG, thats why its saying it cant be animated, not becuase the image is a PNG to start with.

              Open "Optimize" palette, change the Format dropdown to GIF

                                      This is the reason I don't like to use imageready..buggy.. Try Ulead Gif Animator and do the slices in photoshop itself.
