    Why the hell has ICQ Spam gone crazy lately?

    Just getting so much of this crap. Checking ICQ for any new authorisations and I must be seeing about 10 new people (bots) every hour.

    Everyone else seeing this?

          and the "everyone in the biz is on icq" is horseshit. not everyone has it and people DO have other messengers as well. (like yahoo).

          time for the industry to change over.

              My business relies on it totally so I cannot switch it off.
              Although I agree that Yahoo and possibly some others are better messengers, ICQ does seem to be "the messenger for the adult industry" as corny as this sounds.

              Probably one solution would be to use something like Trillian which may address some of these issues.

                  I've had affilaites buy traffic a few times as of late that turned out to be ICQ spam. They were told they were buying text link clicked traffic. So watch out!
