    This is why people hate us

    This apparently "was" the website for the local animal humane society in my area. I go looking for a pet shelter because I'm thinking of adopting another one for Xmas and this is what I find.

                      I don't really see how its the buyers fault that the original owner let the domain expire.

                                      I tend to agree. Its rather underhanded and obviously targeting people who aren't expecting to hit on adult content.

                                                          It looks like you can pay $300 to rescue the domain. That's a fair price, considering it'll cost about $200 or more once you let the domain go and it goes into redemption anyway. Maybe he backordered the name and got it for about $60 tho also.

                                                          He should probably have redirected it straight to his expired domain sales site or parked it somewhere that would have targeted it better instead.

It's about putting pornography on an expired domain that receives SE traffic from kids looking for a pet.
