Every day when I wake up and my children are alive and healthy is a good day. No, it's a GREAT day! I've worked in the medical profession for several years and I've seen how precious life is and how quickly it is taken away.
So, when I'm having a sucky day, all I need to do is realize that even though I'm having a sucky day/week/month, at least TODAY I am not burying a child of mine. It really helps to put things into perspective when you realize how much you DO have instead of how much you DON'T have.
