I was looking at tablets(convertible) this year in the hopes of having one that would allow me to draw out my designs like a notepad of paper.
I could find one that was sensitive enough.
Bought a cheaper laptop, i figuired in the next couple of years they should get better/good enough

I can never go back to normal computing after using a tablet and i thank my buddy who turned me on to it.....i absolutely love it.
I picked up the HP TC4200 which is a slate and keyboard combination. I would have bought a straight slate (no keyword), but i'm using this particular HP model for travel. For me, being on a trip or away for a long time, a slate and keyboard combination is more useful to me....mainly so i can go back and forth to suit my comfort. Even though i'm finding that i hardly ever use a keyboard anymore.
But I plan on buying a pure 100% slate tablet for around here at home and when i'm just running errands around town.
Hey OnlyMOvies the HP tc4200 looks awesome! Hows the recognition software work when you write notes on it? Is it accurate?
Alwasy been a big fan of your sites by the way!

The recognition software is truly remarkable and incredibly accurate. Check around and you'll see people's positive comments. I take notes all the time now and rarely do i need to fix letters or words. I was writing full notes and everything within a day. I do everything now with the tablet. I'm barely on my desktop anymore these days.
Be sure to pick up OneNote from microsoft to go with your tablet. Both those together makes a truly amazing experience. Very productive.
