    Go Fuck Yourself AVN.

    So I went to my mailing center to pick up my mail today. The guy working behind the counter hands me my mail and he has a big shit eating grin on his face.

    I know the dude is as queer as a 3 dollar bill and now I am wondering why he is looking at me this way.

    So, I promptly go through my mail and what do I find? There's a very NON-discreet piece of mail informing me of my "Free subscription to gayvn magazine."

    Now Puff the Magic Cocksucker at the mailing center thinks I'm into guys too.

                                              I agree with you, I did not appreciate the gayvn labeling on the mail that I recieved from AVN. I know they send this stuff out, but they can put in discreet envelop and not have a pic of two dudes on the cover.

                                                                              I'm not embarrassed about it. I'm pissed off at AVN's lack of discretion. We deal with a sensitive business and are often judged by others because of it. Everybody at my mailing center knows who I am and EXACTLY what I do for a living but that's not the point. What if they didn't? What if that mailing, with two half naked men on the front of it, had gone to my house and I had kids who found it?

                                                                              There are a million "what ifs" that could happen here because AVN does not have enough respect for us to be discreet.

                                                                              And Chris should be fired for having that kind of a shitty attitude.

                                                                                                      I know what you mean, I dont hide what I do for a living either. However, my 7 yr old was the one who went and got te mail out of the box and came across this mailer. Just another one of those 'what ifs' due to their lack of forethought and discression.

I think the more we deal with the newer smaller guys the better there mags will get and the readers will follow. the smaller shows will get bigger and better ... I'm guilty myself of going to Vegas this year ... but I'm really re-thinking next year ... doesn't seem to me that they give a shit about anything but making there money (not the worst thing but they should be considerate)

                                                                                                                                                                                              Several of the old school major players figured this shit out a few years back and stopped putting up the huge booths and so forth. I never even stepped foot on the show floor in Florida this year but I spent a hell of a lot of money on rooms, bar tabs, and passes.
