Absinthe, where can I get it in the states?

you can't get the good stuff with the real wormwood in the states...it is illegal

Its completely legal for you to purchase online for personal consumption. Its illegal to sell or distrubute in the states. But it might be illegal all together in your state. But it surely isnt illegal in the last two stats I've lived in for personal consumption..

Not sure about that but Van Gogh, reportedly addicted to the drink, was rumored to have severed his ear in the depths of an absinthe binge.

Hi Debbie,

You can get absinthe in the states that has 10 parts per million of thurone, but the stuff you should get is "king of spirits gold" which has 260 parts thurone... that will give you the buzz you are looking for, same concentration that hemmingway and van gogh drank.. i can find the link for you if you want to order it

Tried it once and it didn't seem that special, a friend got it on a holiday overseas, Italy I think it was. It was really expensive but didn't taste that great. It didn't taste like alcohol, you could just wash it down. I won't be buying it.
