I ran out to the store to pick up a few things quick, like a total of 4 items and this older woman is trying to juggle a few things in her hand, so I ask her if she would like to go first.
She says thanks and jumps in front of me. When its her turn, she wants to write a check (who the hell writes checks anymore??) but worst part is, she writes the wrong amount and the store manager has to come over and verify it. Shes from out of town so they wont take the check that is for $11 to much. So now she has to go find something that will cost exactly $11 on her bill. The whole time im thinking why did i let this old bat in front of me.
Finally, after 5 minutes of picking up packs of gum and candy she is just over and pays the extra few cents in change. The guy starts to ring my stuff up and then I hear her yell "YOU DOUBLE CHARGED ME FOR THIS!!" and she is shaking a box of crackers at him. He now stops ringing me up and voids my sale then goes back and fixes hers. Now she is pissed because she over paid now has to find more crap to ring up. Instead, she calls for the manager.
This goes on for about 10 or so minutes. If i would of just be normal me, I would of been home by now, but instead, I get questioned by my gf about what took me so long.
This kinda shit happens to me all the time, so I decided recently to be a dick and so far its paying off. I went to Rita's (water ice) to get something last night and this fat woman tries to cut in front of my gf and I. I look at her and say "relax, im sure there will still be some left, now wait your turn."
Im going to mentally keep track of nice vs. dick bossku69 for the next few days and see where its gets me. Im not going to be intentionally rude, but if something comes up, im going to speak my mind. I think im waiting to much time with this kinda crap, letting people go first in line, letting people pull out first at an intersection who then drive below the speed limit, etc.
