I was working for a company who scammed affiliates. I think they do not pay no affiliate for more than a year now and they are still in the biz, still processing payments. This company is adpayout.com, they have eveangel.com and myadiamond.com, but both models refused to continue because they got scammed by the owners as well. Eve will start a new official site at DDF Cash [those are good and professional guys there, I am sure it will be huge success story!]

Same. I worked for an adult sponsor that openly shaved sales from affiliates and didn't pay some of them. The checks bounced back and they were like "well.. his signsups aren't doing so well, fuck him".
Same with employees, that company could simply fire anyone. A guy worked there from the beginning, completed dozens of projects on time and because some asshole told the ceo something, he got canned.

Another mainstream sponsor I've worked with was an even bigger asshole. Screw the fact that he liked to scratch his balls (REaCHING INTO PANTS) at meetings. He froze affiliate accounts because of "suspicious activity" and just took the cash. No wonder that business failed.

I just wish Eric could make a sticky with companies that doesnt pay...ofc with strong evidence provided.
That would scare some affiliate programs to not fuck people over as they would get listed and that would hurt their biz.Comment

I think everyone has not been paid or been scammed at one point in time...
I now just try to work with people I know or have long standing biz deals with...
The issue with openly "outing" some programs is that any webmaster can say that some company scammed them or did not pay.. when in fact it was the webmaster fucking the company..
It can turn into a he said she said thing
Over the years I have seen people get there wallets gaped for some big ass numbers...

After hunting my money for a year or three, I tried to contact them twice last month through their contact form and asked them to reply, identifying myself as a webmaster / affiliate. No response at all. So I decided to contact them as a potential customer / porn surfer and asked how many updates they had on their site each month before I was gonna join their site. It only took them 12 hours or so to get back to me and tell me they update every week or more

I got scammed in 2000 by a company whose name I can't even recall. They were paying out $50 for $1 sale. I sent 10 in one pay period and payments suddenly stopped.
