I'm going to see them on Nov 28 in Toronto. I'm not a huge fan, but a buddy had three tickets and he's driving, so I thought I would check them out.
Only trouble with them for me is they seem to get overplayed on the local radio stations, so they are kinda suffering from what I call "Nickelback syndrome".
Definately one of Canada's better bands though.Comment

Im a huge fan myself, saw them here in MTL a couple of times...awesome.
The only album I cant listen to is "In Violet Light". Correct me if im wrong, but I think they hired a new producer for that album...fuck it sucked!
BTW: any Hip fans here that dont have the live version of HighWay Girl(double suicide version) hit me up, Ill upload it to my server for you. It fucking rocks!!

I've seen them several times now, they will never suffer from nickleback sydrome because they have so many good tunes and are Canadian Icons.
Everytime I go up to a cottage the only CD I always remember to bring is a Tragically Hip CD
