    Why is it that when people burn flags...

    ...they always seem to have some incorrect version of the flag?

              Seriously, is it really that hard to make an accurate version of a flag?

              I don't know how many times I've seen photos of people burning American flags that have like 18 stripes and 20 stars

              WTF people?

                              I would leap on him like a wild man from Borneo and smile for the cameras as I jammed the flag pole straight up his ass like the Marines raising the flag over Surabachi...

                              I would add new meaning to "violating his civil rights" - Few things piss me off more

                                                  Flags are a symbol. In some countries, flags carry a more symbolic meaning than in others. For example, in the United States the American flag has a lot of meaning with many people.

                                                  Wedding rings, the crucifex, the Star of David, flags, rainbows... all symbols that are of great importance and meaning to many peoples. It isn't so difficult to see why burning any of those symbols would cause controversy.
