i see so many references to Bit Torrent now - I downloaded it a couple months ago and I dunno, installed it, went to some Bit Torrent website with a list of movies etc on it - clicked on a bunch of them - nothing happened. I am impatient so that was it, I think i uninstalled it. What's supposed to happen? Are Bit Torrent web pages dynamic? If I see some file listed does that mean it should be downloadable?

How Do You Use Bit Torrent?
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!Tags: None -
you download the installer, and install it
go to a torrent site and click on the torrent and it should open the program and ask you where you want to store the file
or you can right click on the torrents and save them locally, and double click them -
1. Download and install a bit torrent client
2. Download a .torrent file
3. Execute the .torrent you just downloaded. If you installed the client right, BitTorrent should come up and ask you where to save the ACTUAL file that you're after. Tell it where to go and the download should begin.
The more "seeds" and "peers" a .torrent file has , the faster you will be able to download the ACTUAL file.Last edited by Strife; 11-21-2004, 12:25 AM.Comment

It's usually best to save the torrent files to your drive and then just click on them to start.
Been getting some great music from Brasilshare with it.Comment
