    Who's On Myspace...

    I just got hooked up onto Myspace last week with these two sites:
    http://www.myspace.com/thefcpf & http://www.myspace.com/thecultofloki

    The first one is for my "FAKE" comedy band The FCPF (Think Spinal Tap) it was an old pet project of mine from 2000 - 2002 then I got bored and killed the site, now it's coming back.

    The 2nd site is yet another "Fake" well sort of, I started my own Cult, and it's backstory explains the reason The FCPF went away, (Fuzzy Zellwigger is Loki.)

    Anyway, I'm looking for ways to maximize myspace to get traffic to the two sites, so heres the deal, you got a myspace account add my two sites to your friends list, and if you have any tips for getting the most from myspace share them here.

    Any questions about these 2 projects just ask.

      Using myspace for commercial purposes is considered spam buddy. But good luck with that.

          well considering I'm not using it for that I'm fine, my accounts are no diff then any others, and my questions here had nothing to do with making money, it was how to maximize mypace to get more people to get to my pages there.

          now back to the commercial purposes, if this was truly the case why then do they encourage the bands to link up to their albums, websites etc? is that not for selling your stuff?

                              Umm, okay. If it weren't for "commerical purposes" profiles MySpace would be about 1/5th the size it is now. And how many profiles do you think have been removed solely because they are considered "commerical"?

                                  is that why MySpace was developed first and foremost as a launching vehicle for independent bands.
