I think if they are fresh (unprocessed) and contain water, they will go bad within 7-10 days.
If they are already dry/processed then I dont think they do, or only after a long time
This is based on almost nothing though so don't take it as much

This is correct, but just to clarify, make sure they are bone dry first. You do NOT want to freeze fresh shrooms. Left in the dark in a sealed bag or 2 in the freezer and they will last a very very very long time without losing much potency. Even in a dark cool drawer they will last a long time. Acid on the other hand starts to lose potency if you look at it funny.Originally posted by protest
