i understand where you are coming from.
i was working as a chef and going to college for IT when i started doing adult. when i started consistantly making $1000+ a week i decided it was time to go for it. I gave a two month notice at my job, which helped me maintain a good relationship with them in case i ever needed to go back, and gave me enough time to save up enough money to make sure i could have about 4 months of bills paid.
Then i quit and devoted all my time to adult. there have been some ups and down, but with my full attention being able to be focused on my work it really helped to get things done. the rest, i guess, is pretty much history.
and i never did go back to that day job. i decided i would do whatever it took to work for myself, and make it work out.
