yes, we do that on the gfy contest threads because we had different ppl collecting multiple bonuses using fake nicks... we want to show people its truly 1 bonus per person. by forcing people to scan their ids, it becomes a little difficult to start asking other people for their ids if they try to collect multiple bonuses, plus i think most ppl understand we are a professional company - ina way, every single affiliate we know their identity, address, etc. im sorry, but other ppl have ruined it with bots, etc - and that is why the rule is in place.

to be honest, when it comes to the gfy posting contest - we don't know who is legit and who isn't - we do know ppl have made it a business to register multiple nicks, use post bots, etc in order to collect hundreds of dollars from lots of different companies.

I am totally with you on this one. I hate those bots and cheaters too! However, it's not too hard to distinguish real webmasters from cheaters. You can do this simply by looking at their sites (if they have any, anyway).
