So we decided to monitor CCBILLs every single move... [results]

Ok, recently CCBILL had some reporting issues for quite some hours .. without telling a soul about it... that pisses me off..

Another thread popped up that night with other affiliates missing sales - so it was quite obvious that something was wrong. CCBILL began investigating and after a few hours the "You've refered a sale" emails was coming to people like snow christmas eve.

During this error we decided to make a script ourselves that was able to monitor every single sale we send as affiliates... and all I can say is that since that night our script and our stats at CCBILL have been matching 100%

And I've too noticed that CCBILL now use their news system to tell both site owners and affiates about upcoming maintenance and shit

Good for you biskoppen & glad it all matches! It's good to hear that everything is ironed out & the mailing/reporting is now synched.

Maybe I'm missing a part here, but I think it's more of a double tracking method, kind of like most bigger programs track their hits/sales before sending to the processor. If he can track his stuff better from his end, it will save calculation time + alert to any discrepancies in the long run well then I see that as 2 for me.

We actually got CCBILL to double check things a couple of times this time - and THEY DID found a big reporting error which had resulted in 12 hours of sales not being shared with the affiliates. The bug were fixed and our stats showed "a good amount" more. Actually tons of affiliates made alot of money that night.

Bravo man, thanks for watching our back and having the hard data to show ccbill that something did go wrong. They may have found it on their own, but anytime it can be speed up and advert a panic is appreciated.

All the sales were there, no skimming. The bug was that the affiliate who sent the sales wasn't credited.

We use them for our paysites too.. they have all the features we want..

We did look for alternatives, but they did all miss something in their system... like the feature of showing which link sent the sale which is one of the most important ones

And let me just add in general for this thread: I dont give a shit about how cool or un-cool CCBILL is... It's MY money they are handling, and I'm watching them - otherwise I'd be a fool!
