    what did this fucker do ??

    I hired someone to write a simple script to reboot apache when it fails and then email me to tell me a restart was attempted and he FUCKED it up


    He told me to put the script in

    /usr/bin

    then type

    php -f /usr/bin/monitor.php &



    I did that and now he shitty script is sending me a messge from my server every fucking second

    I emailed him to tell him its fucked up and he replied he was going to his friends house he would be back later..

    Let me catch that little fucker


    how can I stop that command, I deleted his script but it still seems to be sending me messages, like 5000 so far

                      ps -ef |grep monitor

                      then kill -9 the PID of whatever the command is.

                          No... killall -9 php would just kill any and all php processes that are running. Killing the php process or any other processes would NOT affect your php sites, as apache is the process that is running and it uses it's built in php module to parse the php pages.
