I installed mine myself. Its really pretty easy.
Just place the magnet on the roof and make sure the wire is taut. Push the wire inside the side window rubber or make a small hole and drop it down inside the rubber and catch it at the bottom. Then continue it down just inside the door frame and come out on the floor board. Run it under the front right seat to your center console and then up in towards the radio and plug in the antenna.
Be sure you pick a frequency that has no stations on your stereo car radio to pickup the transmitter signal. I use 87.9 mhz for my Sirius Channel.
You go to channel 184 to activate your unit.
Took me under 30 minutes to get it all installed and running.
