If you buy the portfolio at the "Buy It Now" price, the average price per domain name is only $2884.62. If you would like to buy any of the individual names, the prices will be adjusted for individual sales.

You have 3 names that stands out....the rest are a pile of steaming shit.

sexyladies = decent
sweetass = O.K
locallove = brandable but the double ll presents problems.

the rest are crap. $1200 for the lot is the highest unreasonable number you can go to to even be taken seriously.

I've already had an offer for more than half of the BIN price of the entire portfolio for just 3 of the names alone. I have also had great individual offers for individual names as well. I guess you aren't the buyer I'm waiting for.

This is true! They have universal value because of their traffic. Although, LocalLove.com has recieved many great bids too. It has even outdone a lot of the decent bids I've received for **************. I've also had inquiries on most of the others as well. You can never underestimate the value of a nice sounding domain name.

Why?

Most of the highest offers have come from domain resellers and/or pay per click people. Both of which are not offering top dollar because they obviously can't pay market value. Hint, if a domain reseller is willing to pay you 25k for a name, then you know that they believe that there are buyers out there willing to pay MORE than 25k for it. It ain't rocket science.

I'm looking for the domain buyer who understands the current value of domains and believes in the future value. That person won't wait to grab some, or all of these.

One way to judge if you have a domain name with value is to measure the amount of income a domain name generates for you. Another is if you get offers from people to buy your domain names from you. Sometimes domain buyers want your name for other reasons. This is when a buyer might put a value on your domain name far higher than what you might expect from the general market.

Most (sensible) people can recognize the value of a domain name without wanting to buy the domain name.

In addition, there are many variables that can influence a buyer?s personal valuation of a domain name. That is why so many people have differing opinions on the value of the same domain name.

Hi,

For the record I just want to clarify my situation on this. After contacting the seller to request prices he offered me to make some offers. He gave me no indication of price. I made what I thought was a sensible offer for the domains; (see below)

femalesexdrive.com -> $300
malesexdrive.com -> $300
locallove.com -> $1000

Since that time i have been exchanging very heated emails with regards to domain price valuation. Here are some phrases that have been said to me.

"cheapskate"
"your offers weren't even in the same universe"
"You offered jokes as first bids and expect to be taken seriously?"
" I am embarrassed for you"
"Now I know for a fact that you are clueless."
"You can't be as dumb as you are pretending to be . . . can you?"
"You're lucky I even replied to your original offer."
"Most people wouldn't have wasted the time sending a polite rejection to such a ridiculous offer - you dummy."
"You make me sick."

Initially i must say that i have been very polite to this person. See posts above for example. I must add that since the first email i have been just as bad in my response to him. Not pretending to be an angel!

Anyhow, i just thought i would let you all know not to waste your time (or his time) with offers. I don't have a problem with somebody trying to get the maximum price for their domains. That's business. I do have a problem with complete rudeness and contempt.

Regarding (realed's) post.

He sent his offer in an e-mail. I politely replied with this -

"Thank you again. However, I have rejected offers significantly higher. So, I must pass on your offers. Thank you for your interest."

That should have been the end of it.

But . . . somehow it developed into an e-mail exchange where this moron kept insisting that he knows what these domains are worth. He also wanted me to believe that he was some big time serious domain buyer. Not only were his bids pathetic, they weren't even close to what others have offered. He became offended when I told him that he wasn't in the same universe as the other bidders.

Let me tell you something realed, not only do you NOT know what you are talking about (as far as domain name values), but more importantly,

I don't care what you think my domains are worth!

Understand?

Or is this yet another subject you are incapable of grasping?

I do thank you for helping filter out the pathetic low-ball offers. Sure they are funny when posted on the board, but a thread can only take so many before the joke gets old.

From his list, I would say "yourfantasy.com" is worth the registration fee. Someone might buy it (for more than the registration costs).

I registered, "YourGenealogy.com" hoping to find a buyer. So, I am as guilty for gambling on "Your" domains.

I don't know about any of the others on his list.
