With the internet becoming more of a source for immediate information and gratification Ebay's purchase of Skype seems to strengthen the trend that IM's with phone capabilities are definitely the wave of the future for internet communications.
Yahoo must agree because they just launched a new phone service to be used with their IM and ICQ has audio capabilities too.
