PS3 has some promise for sure. Microsoft has bigger plans but I think they are getting too, "Apple" in their own arena. Sony almost always makes smart moves as they did with the PS when it came out. Sony has launched many great products and brands that we still use today, they've had some flops too, but these can both be attributed to poor marketing or improper analysis of their market.
