dont buy an asus P5QC motherboard

I don't like the fact that it starts up in it's own os first with their bullshit. ( a screen with "ads and games" with an option to "Start your OS". You can turn this off though wow.

It seems to have an extreme problem if you want to stick with XP pro and not move up to the new shit windows system. Forget using any authentication when you login. If you unplug the keyboard and mouse for some reason you're toast. Well, maybe it's because I want to use an old OS.

It could be a new worm with this XP system also but I still don't like all the extra bullshit they pile onto it.

One more thing, when I went back to Frys and asked something about all the hardware I just bought... All I said was I was having a few probs. The first thing out of his mouth was.... "you don't like the motherboard? ( he looked very concerned )" I guess I wasn't the first

They advertise the P5Q motherboard to be the most sold MB in the world .. ;)

I don't know if you're using it for your MAC (OSX i mean) you have to jump through hoops, which makes me wonder if I should put a linux system on it. I figured a windows system would be ok. When I buy a motherboard I just want the basic functions of a fucking motherboard

I guess I should of done my research. It sounded good at the time.
