Well, what are you taking in school? If it is your passion, you could always stay in business another year or two to save some cash, then goto school to try and get a career in what interests you.

If you are only going to school to try and land a high-paying job, then stay with what you are doing now as you seem to be making way more than 99% of people right out of school would make

In that case, I would drop school. If you wish to expand your IT skills and have the ability to learn on your own, do so. Some people can't, they need a "school" or atleast someone pushing them......but for those who can it's a great advantage.

Atleast you can choose what to learn and learn the latest technologies, something standard universities don't offer

As for marketing, almost everything you'd learn in school is "common sense". Learn from the net, it's a lot more upto date (esp. if you want to focus on online marketing versus offline marketing)

MONEY, MONEY, and only MONEY. I don't care what our parents told us - people go to school so they can figure out how to make 100K a year. You make 120K, so you have 20K more reasons not to go to school.

Stick with the money until you are really driven and focused on learning something in school for a reason. THEN go with your passion and learn something cool and you'll have the money, interest, and drive to do your education right, instead of it just being the "thing to do".

education is important people will have high regards on you when you have finished something and will land to any job you want...let's face it! though i agree that experience is the best teacher...but depends on the experience

In this day and age, I would choose money or do school part-time.

It won't hurt to take a few years off to see how far you can push your online business. You can always return to school, and unlike in the past, a degree doesn't gaurantee any job security after school ends.

Also if you find IT boring, by all means switch your studies to something else. You mentioned marketing. Why not... it could even benefit your business.

Well at least when I was in school, doing this was the only way I could remain in school. There was no other way the tuition was going to get paid when the loans didn't cover it.

So many people when they hit 40 or so seriously regret not taking advantage of the educational opportunities when they have them.

When you get older, with marriage, kids, etc., you have a lot less freedom & more responsibility that makes it very difficult to get a higher education.

NEVER pass, on the opportunity to learn.

I would have to offer the exact opposite advice. Stick with your education, it's more important than a couple hundred grand anyday. I don't care what your friends tell you, people make money so they can buy their way into good schools.

I am in a simular situation. I graduated from high school and started learning a trade but dropped out of the trade course because my business was starting to kick off. Now I am looking to go back to school for a night time or morning course to expand my knowledge on web devolopment and graphics. Imagine how proactive you could be if your able to do paysites, logos, graphics, programming, seo, e-commerce, flash, all by yourself.

I know there are free web pages out there that can teach you all of these things but some people prefer hands-on experience. I'd say hands-on is especially important for graphic design. I might just limit my education to taking a few designing courses and then learning the rest online.

Why do you have to choose? If you were able to make that much this year while staying in school, why not just keep it up for the next 3?

Don't drop out. This is the best time to be there. You don't wanna be trying to finish a bachelor's degree when you're in your 30s. Have a good time, meet lots of people, study, and get your degree. Even if you never use it, you won't regret it.

Being 40, I'll have to agree - and suggest you find a way to do both.

As a side note, while I did take advantage of the opportunities presented to me at 20, I've been considering going back to school again to study economic geology, something useful as my new mining "hobby" gets more serious - the point being that "It's never too late to learn..."
