You never see the spider. You only know (or think you know) what he's thinking from the tracks he leaves in your logs. What does it mean? Why did he go there? And not there? It can be frustrating to have your thoughts, your time bound up in attention towards something that never gives you the gratification of an eye-to-eye.
But, if you stick to it, if you suffer the sleepless nights, you'll wake up one morning -- quite surprisingly -- a spider in your own right, a seeker for things that make sense only to you. And then, there won't be any fear in your heart. You will be chasing no one. And no one will be chasing you. You'll just be a spider sitting in the middle of his spider's web, thinkin' your spider's thoughts --
