Can you keep Listerine in your mouth for 30 seconds?

It says on the label to keep in your mouth for 30 seconds but I usually spit it out after 10 - 15! It feels like it's burning away the lining of my mouth! That shit is torture!

Do you keep it in for the entire 30 seconds?

Go buy everclear. the alcohol does the same thing...

... There are colonies of shit breeding in your mouth. put that shit in there and rinse for a minute do it three times in the morning and before bed. you may get drunk from the alcohol absorption if you are sensitive.

The burning is just irritation and rapid death of skin cells. however, you still have your cheeks right? and they stil produce skin cells... right? the benifit is kililng the shit producing colonies. that reminds me, Im out of everclear.

At least 3 times a day? If you do it more then twice a day (morning and evening) you might be doing more harm then good. You can actually brush off your enamel. I knew a guy who needed to get a graft onto his gums because he brushed so often (4 times a day) that he nearly brushed his gums off.

Alcohol does not steralize unless you have immersion for 10 minutes. It's not the alcohol content (though that is part of it), there's more to it then that.

Dentists recommend you brush/floss at least 3 times a day...but you have to do it properly. That means you brush from the gum to the bottom of the tooth, not up and down as your friend did. Brushing towards the gum causes your gums to recede, eventually exposing the roots and henc you need a graft.

As for brushing off the enamel, the key is you are not scouring a pot, you are brushing your teeth....every dentist I have ever known strongly discourages medium or hard toothbrushes and only recommend soft bristle tooth brushes.

Flossing is one of the best things you can do for your teeth. Not only does it remove gunk between your teeth preventing cavities but it also stimulates your gums which can help prevent gum disease.

Uhm....think i better stop the oral health lesson haha

Plax is a pre-brushing rinse to loosen material. Listerine is a post-brushing rinse to get what's left from the brushing.

For the life of me i tried for so many times. But always ended up spitting it out only after a couple of seconds. It's either - its' too strong (the taste) or there's a bubble that i couldn't not keep it in my mouth.
