    Went shopping for Webmaster Toy Run (PICS)

    As Sexentertain_mike announced - they are sponsoring the 2nd Annual Webmaster Toy Run. so, Jamie of AcmeGirls.com went on a little shopping spree today.

    I think the kids will be pleased.

                          I just remember how important xmas was as a kid. Hopefully this little bit helps put a smile on someone's face this year.

                                                          Yes, kudos to all you guys, Mike, Jean-Marie, Jamie, and Baddog... I remember being in the hospital during the holidays when I was little. I remember being scared and confused when they brought me to this room. Then these Marines showed up with toys to brighten the childrens ward. It made a big difference to me and the other children and we got to forget for a little while that we were in the hospital... we were just kids, opening our presents with glee.

                                                          You guys rock. What a difference a toy will make to a child. Mad love to y'all.

                                                              My daughter got me into donating to Harbot-UCLA Hospital back when she was in grade school and announced that she would rather we buy presents for the kids instead of her.

                                                              It turned into an annual event and she was able to get her entire highschool behind the effort.

                                                              We decided to start visiting adults and kids in the hospitals around here on Christmas and Thankgiving, bringing arts and crafts projects to keep them busy for a few minutes and taking their minds off their troubles.

                                                              It is pretty cool when you can go into an emergency waiting room and change the mood of the room with laughs and smiles . . . . even when half the kids did not even understand English.
