So, the other day I mentioned that I was going to a party that I discovered an old girlfriend was attending. I was looking forward to seeing her, as she had always been not only very cute, but a lot of fun.
I even showed up relatively early. I was visiting with some old friends when she walked in. I would have recognized her anywhere. She was just as hot today as she was when I met her in 1972. I was stoked, this was going to be great.
We started talking like we had not seen each other in a month instead of 20 years. I happened to glance down and notice this rock of a wedding ring. No worries, I heard she was just recently divorced, so maybe she was wearing it out of habit.
Alas, after talking to her, and listening to her talk to others I got the impression she was still happily married. I checked with some other, more reliable friends only to confirm that she was indeed married, and the info I got that she was divorced was incorrect.
Oh well. She is happy, and she looks great. That is what is important.
