                                    The lens used for those pictures was a Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS. It's my favorite lens to use (if I'm shooting in an area large enough for me to use it)

                                        I like the feel of a zoom .. the depth of field is just right, giving you a soft focus on the face.
                                        Love it ..

                                        I've been using a 70 - 300 with my fuji, But Find the back end to be still too tight .. wish there was a 50 - 200 .. That would be awesome

                                                The best way to blurr out the background is to use a wide aperture and back way up from the model and zoom in. Also, make sure you have some distance between the model and the background. This may be something that you know already...if not, give this a try on your next shoot and see if that gives you what your looking for
