    Extreme paychecks question

Just a quickie and this is probably a quicker way to get an answer than e-mail

The click tracking...what's being counted? Is it 2nd page hits or join page hits or....

I only ask as it's not uniques to the 1st page (I obviously appreciate many programs don't count 1st page) and it's always nice to know what sponsor stats are meant to be counting for reference

I believe it depends on the site...at least that was the case a few months ago.

Thanks. That may make sense. If so best to totally ignore the click tracking then with them. Not that sponsor click tracking is too useful anyway but as I say it can be handy for a quick refernce point sometimes.

Good question. I've never gotten an answer to that.

It sucks when a sponsor only tracks 2nd page or join hits and uses it to calculate ones ratio. It makes stats worthless as one will not even know how many visitors they sent to the sponsor.

I use and recommend Webair for hosting.

It's always struck me as a strange thing to do. Yes - it will artificially make the ratios look good and all the newbies and idiots on boards will swoon at the great stats posted...however it also makes the clicks look awful and who wants to use a sponsor showing very few clicks (compared to others)? It makes you worry that something's wrong. But then a lot of sponsors seem to do it so obviously that method of tracking must work for them.
