WHAT: CYBERNET EXPO - Adult Webmasters Conference, in it's 8th year. (Can you believe that?)
WHERE: Shelter Pointe Hotel - San Diego. http://www.shelterpointe.com
We moved hotels so that we could buy up enough of the hotel to make sure there were no other shows on the premisis. It is on a point and a lovely spot! Even more water views than last year. The whole place is Wireless Internet - so no one will be left out of Internet rooms (as long as you bring your nic card) It has a lot more available suites. The bar is located partially inside & partially outside, so the smokers don't have to go outside to take a smoke. It will remain open until 2am as long as it is busy. There are no rooms close by, so noise will not be a factor. (See we have already solved most of the minor problems from last year.) It also has a small beach.
WHEN - June 12 - 15th - We tried for a later date in June, but these were the only dates that we could buy out the hotel. The website will be changed soon.....
WHY - Cybernet Expo fills the void between the smaller regional shows & the huge Internext show. It is International and brings webmasters from all over the world. The show is built around education & the ability to network easily. We try to keep the cost in line, so that a variety of companies can participate in our unique venue. We always have new ideas, such as the 'Corridor Crusin and putting exhibit space within the Networking Hall, where the webmasters gather to have a beer & make deals in a quiet setting.
