Aeon Flux

Kinda want to see the movie.

was a huge fan of the original cartoon on Liquid TV. Expecially the odd dialog.

Im sure the movie will be dumbed down in dialog for the general idiot population and such, but it still might be ok.

a friend recently bought the entire dvd set of all the aeon flux cartoons

i've almost watched them all

the cartoon owns the movie but the movie is going to so fucking good.

aeon is such a fucking whore. she uses men to get whatever she wants.

The dialog was super crazy. Watching the series, 2nd time through i really saw a whole different cartoon. Gotta watch it in a linear way to understand it.

I still answer the phone sometimes: "Cold meat, mutton pies, tell me when your mother dies, ill be there to bury her, cold meat, cold meat :D"

I've had Aeon Flux stock on HSX.com since 99. I was taking a beating on it till this year. I didn't even remember HSX till I saw the trailer for AF.

Now I'm crossing my fingers that someone finally makes Survivor from the author of Fight Club.

Haven't read it. got though chapter 2 of "the haunted"? though, until i lost the book. 2 chapters were enough to make it NC-17 if it were a movie.

Holy crap that guy can write. Fight club was an awesome book/movie.

Didn't know there was AF stock. Anyone know if the original creator/animator had anything to do with the movie?

Lullaby has NOTHING on Survivor, Fight Club or Invisible Monsters. I liked Choke way more than Lullaby. Survivor being #1.

If you like Chuck you should definitely read Contortionists Handbook. He has a quote on the jacket saying its his favorite book in a decade.

BTW, I can never remember how to spell his last name. Everyone knows "the guy who wrote Fight Club" anyway.

Does anyone expect this movie to be good? Sure the cartoon was cool, but this movie is PG13, already a sign it is going to suck, plus they didn't allow the critics to review it beforehand, which is basically the kiss of death. That means they know it sucks and they don't want anyone else to know that before opening day.

If it was R rated then maybe there would be some hope.

I always hated when Aeon Flux came on Liquid TV because they did it too often and it took up too much of the show. By itself it would have been cool. It's a movie I'll wait for cable though
