I lived there for 2 years, loved it! Eat as much German food as you can...I loved it all! Wines, BEER, they have over 5,000 types of beers.
I would tell you to head to Rhine river to see all the castles along it, neuschwanstein , Rotherburg ob der Tauber...the list goes on and on...so much to see....so little time!!
My Ex-husband SKULL-BUITRE ran off to Colombia with OUR money and screwed me after I helped him build OUR business.
He is hiding in Colombia and never paid the settlement $ from our divorce!

I agree on this, though Neuschwanstein is not next to the rhine
but anyways worth seeing. You shouldn't miss Munich, but that's too far away I guess.
The time is not the best for sightseeing in Hamburg coz the weather up there is generally aweful at this time of the year
Amsterdam isn't in Germany and if you want to see a country with overweighted people you go to the US, there aren't more in Germany than anywhere else in europe.
The Dom's usually on about now and worth a visit. Careful with the strip clubs in the St Pauli area. The bigger ones are fine but some of the smaller clubs are pure rip off joints.
