I just took this pic, this is my pool in my back yard. we havent used it in 2 years.

I seen this fish like thing swimming in it.

yeah its totally fucked, its got the biggest smell.

its summer here in Australia and invited my mates over for a pool party on the weekend and when they got here and seen it they were not hapy and didnt find it funny

to drain the fucka you need to get in it, it have a big ass plug that un-bolts from the bottom, there are is no fucking way i am getting in that thing to drain it, i dont even think i could pay someone to do it... the only other way is to hire a big ass pump and pump the fucking green/black water out, but then where to hell to i pump it out to?

I find dead frogs, moles and mice in my pool all the time. I can only imagine what's at the bottom of that thing, yuck! I doubt you could even drain it without fucking up the pipes.

I pulled more than one family pet from beneath a closed pool cover. People had thought their dog or cat had run away. By the time that I got to them the stink was horrendous but just as bad was that the corpses are fragile and decomposed. They fall apart taking them out of the pool. You just have to bag it and call the pool owner to let them know of your findings.

is your pool salt or chlorine ?

if the later, dumb like 10L of the stuff in and let it sit for 3-5 days... after that you should see it getting slightly clearer.. and shit dying .. then keep adding more chlorine every couple of days since its getting hotter here the chemicals will evaporate faster!

wait 7-10 days and it should look a lot better. Then get a brush and start scrubbing.. 2 weeks later after a lot of work, get a pool test kit to test the PH level... then you need to add- stuff depending how that looks

If its salt water... theres an entirely different process.

My consulting bill will arrive via email very shortly.

ive seen worse... that water can actually be cleaned without draining if you have a good enough pump system. the only thing in there is tadpoles and alge.. (and probably a snake or two)
