Ok, I'm fucking stupid because I don't know why a FAX is more...

ccbill will not do any changes to my info(pay site account) unless I fax the forms. I sent the form to them as a jpeg but they would not accept that.

Isn't a fax by definition a "facimile" of the actual form?

It's just a digital transmission of a copy of the form that they must print on paper; so isn't a jpeg also a digital transmitted copy of the form that they also print on paper?

Can't anyone just go to Kinko's and fax a form while emailing a jpeg at least gives a return address for confirmation of it's legitimacy?

What's the fucking differrence????

Please tell me if I'm missing some point here and need to buy a fax machine.

Most stores will fax a letter for you with no problem, charge is about $0.50. Don't buy a machine.

Same fucking thing happened to me! I sent 4 emails to my merchant account IPS saying to cancel my account (this all before, during, AND after it was even setup) and they finally replied back a week later saying they needed a signed, dated, FAXED letter in order to legally cancel it.

It costed a buck so no big deal but it's still retarted. Why is that any more legitimate than an e-mail or a telephone call?

They look at the paper and see my sig in my handwriting;
is the fax gonna have a better copy of my hand writing?

It's just stupid fuckers who can't think; they think the fax is magic and not data and that the form was beamed up by scotty out of my fucking hand so they have the orignal form and not a copy!!!

They'll faze out sooner or later. Until then I suggest if someone asks you to fax something that you do so as not to delay whatever you're trying to get done.

Yes, its just stupid fuckers who dont think. Or maybe you are the stupid fucker who doesnt think that if they say they want it faxed, they dont want to fuck with opening up your jpeg, printing it, and putting it with all the faxed shit. Now go fax the goddamn peice of paper and shutup.
