Hosting Question - WebAir vs. ISPrime

Both are outstanding companies. I am personally hosted at webair.

IsPrime is my secondary host, and I'm happy with them.

WebAir is a cesspool of ROKSO spammers and other lowlifes. If you have no problem hosting with a major Spam Support organization without ethics, they are a fine choice.

I host with webair for over 2 years and I'm very happy with them.

ISPrime and Webair have their IP range blocked at some TGP's. Use NatNet.

ISPrime is great. I've never had any problems with them.

Both are fucking great

Both companies have excellent histories for service and support. I don't know any specifics about either and their relationships with spammers.. but as a host I do know that not everything in that database is accurate or necessarily true. Your choice for hosting is one of the most important ones to be made, for sure! You're doing the right thing, keep talking to people and getting feedback. Just make sure that when you're evaluating feedback that you are simultaneously weighing the credibility and motivations of the people that are giving you information.

This is a business you always tell customers that they are a making a business investment. Sure they can go out and get a cheaper server but it won?t be as reliable.
Juniper Powered Network most people won?t ask you about the hardware we use to run the network but in case they ask you something like this ?what kind of routers or switches do you guys use at ISPrime?? you can tell them Juniper & Foundry Networks. Most people won?t ask you this but you never know. Again this is the best equipment money can buy. We are talking hundreds of thousands of dollars invested into this. Not every hosting company can do something like this. We are responsible for this so our customers don?t play any role in this.


Bandwidth

? 25 gigabit Multi Homed Network this is a valid question someone might ask. What kind of network do you have or what kind of bandwidth do you use? ISPrime is multi homed (meaning we have more then one internet carrier) (an internet carrier is something like a phone company for example if you have dsl they are your internet carrier except with us the lines are thousands of times faster then a dsl or a cable modem line.. don?t say this to customers but this is for you to get an idea of what a carrier is) ISPrime connects to carriers such as Level3, MFN, Teleglobe, C&W, NYIIX as well as 100s of privte peers.. We are not dependent on any single carrier so if one of our carriers goes down (stops working for whatever technical reason) our customers are still online and the network is still functional. A lot of hosting companies depend on one carrier so if their carrier has downtimes so do their customers. This is not the case with us. In fact we offer 100% uptime. Pay Site Protection people who run paysites are very familiar with password theft and hate password sites. There are software like Pennywize that stops this. But most of these programs cost money or require a monthly fee to be paid by the webmaster. ISPrime has its own version of the software called ISPrime Cop and we offer it for free to our customers. Good selling point to webmasters who run paysites.
Movies & Image Hotlink protection this is to prevent image and movie theft. Image protection is done with htaccess and this is done by most hosts. Been hosted with isprime for two years with zero problems. Their level of service and support is unbeatable. Only thing is their pricing is not so competitive at the lower end, but very good value at the higher end of the market.

It's not a real hard choice. Not many(if any) can beat the support at isprime. No engrish speaking outsourced people, no real support, in the datacenter itself. Hardware failure? Replaced within minutes. Swapping HDD's etc it's all possible. Even on Christmas!

Also they offer great support on 3rd party scripts. Simply the best. Webair might be cheaper, but you get what you pay for. For better deals then on the website, contact Henry or Deniska

I usually call the Webair techs late at night around 3am and have them do small script work, but that's not my real reason for calling them since my sites are always ruunning just fine...

...I really call them because like to have hot sex talk with them, which Webair offers as a $50 upgrade to your package price. If they did not speak fluent English it would not turn me on as much as it does.
