The people that deserve to be thanked will be and/or have been. I have a complete list of all donations. Why should I thank the board in general especially after all the haters posted. Why would I waste me time? She and I appreacite everything .... I have said this before. Even the simple cards that came in the mail. Those happy cards at least put a smile on her face. After reading all this, it would have been nice to read a thank you to those who donated as opposed to stating that you ONLY received $2500 and it wasn't worth the hassle. A charity or fundraiser should be grateful for whatever its able to receive and the reason GFY users probably didn't give that much was probably based on your condescending attitude towards its users.

I understand your point. I admit I may have not stated everything the right way .. I'm not a PR guy. I don know that around $1500 or so came directly from the various chat boards ... so thanks to all the boards .. not just GFY or another one, but thanks to them all.
The only reason I started getting defensive is because of all the hate her. Its not that GFY is uncharitable, its that there just are a bunch of GFY posters that are inconsiderate.
Here's the deal. I am very sorry for the mistakes in the way I handled GFY. I'm sorry for coming across like someone that doesn't appreciate the little things. All I tried to do is help someone that needed it. That doesn't make me so bad. I may have handled certain parts of it wrong but I'm not a pro and PR nor do I want to be. Even the best PR people get hammered. So thank you to GFY for helping us reach so many people. Thank you to the people that posted postive remarks and also thank you to the people that tried to point out what I was doing wrong, in a nice way, so that I can understand better what I did wrong.
