But the wify wanted wood floors, new tile in the bathroom, replace the sliding glass door with French doors, replaced every single door handle in the house from gold to nickle plate, over 500 bucks in handles for the kitchen cabinets (JUST THE FUCKING HANDLES, 22 of them)

We have the wood laminate floors downstairs and carpet upstairs. I do eventually want to change it all to hardwoods. I also want to change all the sinks/vanities in all the bathrooms. I also want to change all the gold fixtures and crap to satin nickel. I want to change the kitchen counter to granite or quartz too, but there is lots of time.Originally posted by plyndrty

Don't get me wrong the wife is a sweet heart and I enjoy doing things to make her smile. We did all of the things I listed plus more but we stop at the counters... this is our first house (2 years now) as well so it's just a 5 to 7 year investment for us.Originally posted by MandyBlake
