    ICANN Domain Cost

    Anyone know and care to share how much registrars pay for domains from Icann? Specificaly .com domains incase it makes a price difference.

          Thanks! So that means no domain registrars sell domains under $5.95 without added paid services right?

              Also if I am reading the financial statement of one of the top domain registrars in the world, there isn't a lot of money involved in the domain registrar industry is there?

                  I've seen some going below that for promo reasons. Mainly they try to upsell you hosting. I'm not very familiar on their earnings, but I assume the large companies should do a killing from them. The domain registration is just the 1st step of a good client. Hosting,protected who-is, SSL certificates etc can follow.
