    Inexpensive PDA

I am looking for an inexpensive PDA.

    Must have WiFi.

Never bought a PDA before, so I am a little new to the market. Do they have browsers, and can you download instant messaging programs on to them?

I am also open to a cheap cell phone that has WiFi and a browser, I won't activate it, but I will be able to use the WiFi (I can take the SIM card out of my G1 and still use the wifi, I think it is possible).

I will be buying it used, so if the new price is a little expensive then that is fine. I wouldn't want to spend over $125 though, although adjustments can me made...

Do a shift at McDonald's, then you can afford one.

Buy yourself a Netbook. You can pick up the Dell Mini 9 on craigslist for around $200.

The only other real option in my opinion Smartphone of some sort (WinMo, iPhone, Blackberry).

      Spend you some brain.

Yeah, get yourself a decent enough smartphone, they do everything and more that a pda does, plus it's your phone.

          har, har, har.

Chances are it will be destroyed, that is why I wanted it cheap.

          I guess you work there?

I agree that's what my granddaughters have and they drive me nucking futz with text messages so they must be very user friendly. My cell phone text function is so complex if I want to add a number to my phone book I have to get a 7 year old to do it. LOL

I don't really need the phone feature. I just need the wifi, with a browser. although the way it sounds, I am going to have to get one.

The netbook is actually a better option. I picked on up over the weekend and am amazed by what this little 8 in computer can do.

Get an ipod touch or iphone, then spend about $15 on apps and you're set. My iPod Touch has completely replaced my palm.
