No, it's not scary...just violent and gruesome.
Hostel looks good, if you're into sick and disturbing movies and what not. I saw a trailer for it when I watched Saw 2. The trailer was of a guy who was bound to a chair having his toes ripped off via a pair of pliers. Pretty painful.
The real reason I wanna see it is because it's directed by Quentin Tarantino.
