I was going for big contrast. Vast amounts of red with black/white focal points attract the eye to the image of the rapper.

Put some kind of fade [black bottom to current color top] into the lettering and then darken him up a bit.. .
Nothing wrong with having the dude be off center either, I'd move him to the left a little closer to those lines or incorporate the 2.Comment

The image of the rapper is just plain whack! It looks like there should be something underneath him...it doesn't look like a natural position.
