    My Oven Is Smoking - Help!!!

    Someone left a kitchen implement in my oven and the handle has melted off....

    I cooked lasagne last night and it taste horrid and I couldnt figure out why this horrible black smoke was coming out of the oven whenever I opened the door.

    Today I've just seen that there was a kitchen implement left in a pan on the bottom shelf of the oven and the handle has totally melted all off and is over the bottom inside the oven. I tried to remove as much of the melted plastic as possible but its still smoking.

    Anyone know what I can do? I got to eat but im scared to try and cook anything after the horrible taste of the Lasagne last night.

          put a pan inside just fill it with water itll take the smell away set it to slow cook for 10-15 mins, there are sprays you can buy to clean the oven but theyre really strong lotsa chemicals you dont inhale that stuff

                  better take care of that. it could cause serious accident.
