I don't personally believe in the concept of God or the Devil, but I find people that act like they know there is no such thing just as amusing. There could be a giant platypus in the sky pulling all the strings for all we know. imagine you're an organic cell in human body with little mind (consciousness) on your own (at least you generate your own electromagnetic field that interacts with other cells), you live your life, do your thing, divide, die off, divide again, etc... - would you ever know you're a part of human body capable of many things beyond your scope of functionality?
concepts of God are primitive and made that way for primitive minds - which is not bad, imagine level of crimes we might have on the streets w/o so much religious influence over those minds or maybe we would be far more advanced, who knows.

You should see some of the discussions on certain mainstream boards I am on. Its a 180 from this place for sure. Seems most of them are bible thumpers who think the idea of god, jesus, heaven and hell are the only logical conclusion anyone could come to.
