    2004 Hummer Contest Sponsored By NaughtyBank

    Allie and I wanted to let everyone know about the contest we're having next week.

    THE PRIZE: Ok so it's not an actual HUMMER however it is a Limited Edition 2004 HUMMER Mountain Bike. Estimated retail value = ??? The standard HUMMER Mountain Bike retails for $795.00 but you cannot purchase the Limited Edition bike at any price! With the exception of this contest, the only way to get one is to buy a 2004 Limited Edition H2 for over $60,000.00!

    THE RULES: The rules are simple, the NaughtyBank affiliate generating the most new sales between Saturday 11/13/04 (Midnight EST) and Saturday 11/20/04 (Midnight EST) will win the HUMMER mountain bike pictured here courtesy of NaughtyBank!

                              being an enthusiastic mountain biker and owner of many, many bikes, I need to drop in here and release some ranting.

                              that bike sucks a big wang. the components suck, a different brand mtb of same class would go for about $300.

                                                                  hummers are crap, they have the same offroad capabilitys as a jeep except they cost 3 times as much. Nice promotion though the bike is pretty cool, i like the folding up idea.

                                                                                  Ummm, considering the fact that I own both an H2 and a Jeep Wrangler I can tell you first hand that a stock Jeep can't come close to the offroad capabilites of a stock H2. The only advantage of a stock Jeep over a stock H2 is the shorter turning radius and it's ability to get through narrow trails. Overall, the offroad capabilities of the H2 are far superior to the Jeep.

                                                                                  Anyway, we're talking about a bike here, not the vehicles.

                                                                                                  ive read articles in offroading magazines who rated the H2 as havein the same offroad capabilitys as a jeep in field tests. Your basically buying a name. Ive never offroaded in a h2 but im sure anyone whos gonna lay down 40-60k for a h2 isent gonna be offroading it anyhow.
