sadly when i was young, I dragged one behind my dirtbike and than threw him on the camp fire, its the sickess smell ever. don't ever.

and I come from the country, hunt moose, bear, deer, birds, fish, killing a turtle didnt seem cruel to me at the time.

I've eaten softshell & alligator turtle. Cut in strips and deep fryed and in a stew over rice.

I've also known some old black dudes to eat gopher turtles when I was younger. They are endagered now. So are alligator turtes. I think it's still ok to eat softshell turtles though.

It's not the fact that you killed a turtle that was cruel. It's the way in which you killed it. I never did that kind of shit when i was 16. I don't personally know anyone that did.
