neverwinter nights is just like EQ, except you dont have to pay a monthly fee for it!! Its great Lots of fun as well!! Im addicted to it!

And I did like NN for a while.....but it got stale for me.

I wish I had more time to play, maybe in the new year. WoW was pretty fun, but the PK action got pretty lame. Thats all i like to do is PK

haven't played eq2, but WoW is great! i wish my girlfriend would play with me instead of nagging me for attention.

EQ 2 without a doubt. They only focus on PVE; not PVP.

Wow, has a bunch of 12 year olds playing, that just love to pvp gank on sight.....*sigh* Damn kids........lol

Also, I found in the betas, a much more mature player base in EQ2, then I did in WoW. The battlenet brats will rule in WoW.

newsflash, killing humans is harder and much more fun than computer AI. i played DT in AC and when i first made my toon i took off for a remote area where i wouldn't get ganked. played some with friends but mostly solo and whenever i seen someone around my level they were dead.

part of the fun is to be stealthy so that you don't get killed. you're always watching your back because at anytime you can get killed. its part of the rush. carebear servers are too easy going for my taste, where you could slack off. in pvp you always had to be ready for a fight.

Just saw some ingame screenshots of EQ2 this weekend. Looked llike shit. I've never played EQ, so maybe I just don't understand it.

Check out Guild Wars... lots more action and good team PvP.

Blizzard will have roleplaying servers where the environment is not like this. Furthermore, the non roleplaying servers will cater to retards like the ones you described. The roleplaying servers shall be policed heavily to exclude any 'leet speak' or out of game chat in general channels. The roleplaying servers in WoW ARE going to be the life of the mmorpg genre. The other servers will cater to retard 12 year old flame tards such as DiE or whatever who gank people for their panty knots.



A group of people called the inner circle or some shit make it a full time job to cause confusion in WoW because SoE and EverQuest want to reign supreme,... but thanks to my hard fucking effort, and thanks to furor from fires of heaven for tireless works, the tables have infact shifted in the genre at this point.

Furthermore, I will give a brief synopsis of the history of EverQuest to give you a feel for what has been goin on in the last few years.

Verant created everquest late 90's. the game was lead by Brad McQuaid and a group of very skilled designers. These people were and are the life of online games. They gave birth to it with their awesome intellect and whatever. These guys are the legend of the genre of massively multiplayer online roleplaying games. Well in 2000 or something a company (Sony Online Entertainment) bought out Verant, which was originally funded by some other New World Order giant corporation..... and the SoE people (actually led by 'the man') forced out Brad and some of the skilled developers. Now, four years later, SoE are attempting to bank off EverQuest 2 by acting as if they were responsible for the life of EverQuest 1.

So....
.... .. EverQuest died for the good guys after SoE took over and the genre has been completely dead ever since.

That is until furor announced World of Warcraft on his message board more than a year ago. Furor is the sole propreietor responsible for the shift. Not completely, we all are working together to make a game that is actually worthiwhile. The fight has been long and also fierce, however World of Warcraft, due to the effort of great men, ... is infact a grand work and the superiour production.

PVP is awesome in that game, so is everything else

If i actually had the time to commit to a MMORPG, i would go WoW anyday ...

Why?

Because it seems impossible for Blizzard to make a 'bad' game. We are talking about one of the only game development companies who can tell their publishers to fuck off, we will only release it when we think its 100% perfect. If Blizzard say 'we expect this game to be released at THIS time', you can expect it to be released about a year later ... not because they are lazy, but because they are perfectionists.

EQ2 seems kinda tight. I used to play the old EQ long ago. Left after PoP cam out. The only way to really get anywhere in that game is to have 60 people online 15 hours a day who are willing to accompany you every step of your journey. It got old after a while.

Thanks for the advice. I just don't like the PVP environment. There are so many poor winners online. "i pwn jooo n00b!!!111!!!" gets really old.

Plus I have no desire to "kill" other people. It's just part of who I am. Call me a pussy if you want, I don't give a fuck.
