need a code that will make sure to popup and open the video in the users video player

don't think it's possible - depends on how each surfer has his browser set up and what browser he's using. it's one of the reasons I'm not using Firefox all the time - i can't seem to get it to play videos, wmv and mpegs, in Media Player, it insists on downloading them first which i hate.

so what do you suggest is the most effective way of getting the videos to play for everybody or for the most part?

Right now I am using simply <EMBED SRC="blah.wmv"></EMBED>. I know that isn't the way to get it to the most viewers so I would appreciate sopme help on this one too

I may be wrong, but I think WMVs play only when they are downloaded in full and MPEGs can play even when they arent.
