Video cam records directly to memory stick

Does anybody know why makes the best Digital Camcorder that records decent quality video directly to a 512mb memory stick?
Its just a hassle to convert miniDV to mpeg.

The only problem is this is just a recorder and not a camera. I am looking for something simular to this but all-in-one.

If I can't find what I am looking for that is my next option. Its hard to believe that what I am asking for does not exist.
